The service

Tondo is a service to send, request and split money in euros between people. Today only a test version with fictitious data and balances is available; the real service will be offered only after the necessary authorisations and checks.

Your account

You must be an adult and provide your own email address. You are responsible for keeping your access secure. You can delete your account at any time from your Profile.

Payments

Payments are made through Google Wallet and an authorised payment institution. Tondo is not a bank. Tondo cannot reverse a confirmed payment: any refund must be agreed with the person who received it.

Groups and projects

Group accounts and projects are an organising tool: Tondo works out who owes what to whom from the expenses entered by participants, but does not check that they are correct. Whoever enters an expense is responsible for it.

Fair use and liability

You may not use Tondo for unlawful activity, fraud or harassment. We may suspend accounts that do. To the extent permitted by law, Tondo is not liable for damage from service interruptions or from information entered by users. Italian law applies; mandatory consumer protections are unaffected.
