Tondo is an independent project born in Europe, made for people who live here: amounts in euros, five languages and European privacy rules as the starting point. It isn't yet another app built elsewhere and adapted to Europe: it starts here.

Pick a card already in your Wallet and confirm with your usual unlock. The receipt shows up right away.

Dinner with friends
The bill is €120 and there are four of you. Request €30 from each: everyone gets the request and pays with a tap.
Monthly rent
Share a link with your flatmates. Whoever opens it finds the amount and recipient already filled in.
The trip
Paid for a taxi or tickets? Ask for your share back without doing maths at the end of the night.
The group gift
One person collects, everyone chips in from their phone. The history shows who has already paid.

Everyone chooses a username. Type it and the contact appears, even if you forgot the surname.

If you know a friend's email, that's enough. It works for people who just signed up, too.

Scan someone's code in person, or send a link on WhatsApp: the amount is already filled in.
Ask for money without the awkwardness
A request is a clear message with an amount and a reason. Whoever receives it sees it on the home screen and can pay right away with Google Wallet, or decline. You don't have to write, remember or chase anyone.

In Tondo every payment goes through Google Wallet: pick a card you've already saved and confirm with your unlock method. No card numbers to type.

Is Tondo available yet?
No. We're building the app: launch is planned for April 2027 and the date may change.
How much will it cost?
Prices aren't set yet. We'll announce them before launch.
Which countries will it work in?
We're starting with the euro area, but the list of countries at launch isn't settled yet.
What do I pay with?
With Google Wallet: pick a card you've already saved and confirm. No other payment methods are planned for now.
Do I need a password?
No. You sign in with your email and a one-time code. If you like, add an Authenticator app for an extra check.
What do you do with my email?
We only use it to tell you when Tondo is available. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
